9:30-10:45am Focus on Harambee (Marc)

The Fish Bowl methodology was used to discuss the Harambee Project; where it came from, activties, milestones and current status. The discussion started off with members of the Coordination Committee (Riff, Jackie, Abu), interviewed by Jenny. They were later joined by members from the 'audience' (other workshop participants) who asked questions and contributed to the discussion at different intervals.

This session was intended to set the stage for the next session on creating a vision for Harambee.

11:00-1:00pm Creating a vision for Harambee (Marc)

The purpose of this session was not so much to come up with a concrete vision for Harambee, but rather to spark-off ideas of how the project can better achieve its objective to build capacity for networking and collaboration in Africa

A unique facilitation technique called Provocative Proposition was used.
