ACTIVE MEMBER PARTICIPATION

Need to further sensitize WOUGNET members on use and application of ICT’s in their daily activities

SOLUTION:

• Conduct three (4) Regional Workshops

PROBLEMS:

• Member’s lack of knowledge and confidence on how to apply ICT's in development activities.
• WOUGNET members lack enough knowledge on WOUGNET roles and activities.
• WOUGNET not having sufficient knowledge on members activities and binding relationships

RECOMMENDATIONS

• Can we link HIVOS support to Harambee support? e.g. membership.

• Members get a better idea of WOUGNET and where they fit in. How can they benefit from WOUGNET and visa vie.

• Distilling what WOUGNET is and why it is important to the members
• Two to three strategic things WOUGNET dies.
• Publish best practices examples or how ICTs have been used. Link ICTs to encourage them to include acquisition of ICTs in their budget proposals.
• Transparent way of membership benefiting from opportunities.
• Members see benefit and value of membership
• Strategic plan – let members know what it is.

WOUGNET ACTION PLAN

ACTIVITY:

• Members to get a clear Idea of who is Wougnet, how they fit and benefit from it.
• Sensitizing members on what WOUGNET is and what is it important for members to be part of the Network.
• Workshops (Four (4) Regional Workshops)
